Kirby Institute's highlights from POC25

The Kirby Institute is a leading global research institute dedicated to the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, with a particular focus on HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmissible infections. Our research is undertaken across a spectrum that ranges from laboratory studies, through clinical trials of preventative and therapeutic treatments, to public health surveillance and impact evaluation.

Kirby Institute Seminar Series

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Kirby Institute Seminar Series is a research seminar series that has been running since 2002.

The 2nd Asia Pacific Conference on Point-of-Care Testing for Infectious Diseases (POC25), co-led by <a href="https://rapidpoc.org.au/" title="https://rapidpoc.org.au/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">RAPID</a> and <a href="https://ashm.org.au/" title="https://ashm.org.au/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ASHM</a>, brought together leading voices and emerging researchers from across the region.This seminar will feature five early- to mid-career researchers who will share rapid perspectives of highlights from POC25, followed by a Q&amp;A session facilitated by Tanya Applegate (RAPID) and Jessica Michaels (ASHM) as co-chairs.
