KIRBANU: Candlelight Yin & Live Music Event

A beautiful collaboration between Yoga Garage creator, Karen Gunter and musician and yogini, Kirbanu will include a combination of soothing live music, meditation and Yin Yoga, inviting you to leave the world behind for a while and focus completely on yourself.

You will be invited to let go of doing and immerse in being.

Each asana gives you the time and space to relax, to give yourself up to the moment and let your breath flow freely. This allows you to come to inner peace and release yourself from all the tensions you hold on to.

In this 2 hour all levels Yin practice we'll focus on supporting all of our bodies systems in a nourishing cycle that will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed

BREATHE... You cannot breathe deeply and worry at the same time. Breathe. Let worry go. Breathe. Allow the love and intuition in.

This workshop is suitable for the absolute beginner through experienced yogis!

You will need a mat, bolster, block and blanket

* Cancellations 21 or more days prior to start of an event will receive a full refund.

* Cancellations 8-20 days prior to start of an event can receive a partial refund or credit (20% penalty).

* No refunds or transfers are available for no shows or cancellations within 7 days of the start of the event.

Kirbanu is an Adelaide born, internationally based yogic voice coach, musician & yogini who fuses vocal science with mindfulness techniques to teach people how to use their voices holistically and in empowering ways. She has performed over 500 concerts in the last 5 years across Europe and Australasia. Her deep passion is to use sound and the voice as tools for meaningful connection and personal transformation, and she loves guiding others to experience the freedom and joy that a holistic connection with their own voices and body brings.

Karen Gunter began practicing yoga in 1986 to help manage chronic knee pain and found that practice not only cured her of any pain, but also improved her overall physical and emotional health.

Believing that every student matters, Karen has helped students in the Yoga Garage community to work towards increased health and wellbeing of body and mind since the studio opened in 2009. Karen teaches Yin and Yang approaches in regular classes at Yoga Garage

In addition to her regular classes, she offers private classes for individuals and families in their homes, corporate workplace classes and runs weekend yoga retreats in luxurious locations around South Australia. She works with diverse groups, from assisting professional sportspeople to prevent injury and enhance their performance, to children from kindy to year 12 at Adelaide schools as well as weekly therapeutic yoga sessions for inpatients at Flinders Medical Centre. Karen believes that yoga is a gift for life – able to be practiced from 3 to 103!
