Kids & Teens Latin Dance // Come and Try Workshops

We’d love to invite you to try kids’ and teens’ Latin dance with our free ‘come and try’ workshops so you can get a taste of our classes.

Kids & Teen Classes are Back for 2026!

We’re excited to announce that our kids and teens Latin dance classes return in 2026, with our first course kicking off on Saturday, 25 April 2026.

Before the new term begins, we’d love to invite you to come and try kids and teen Latin dancing as our guest with these free Come & Try workshops, so you can get a taste of what to expect.

If you’re looking for a place where your child can make new friends and create amazing memories they’ll never forget… you’re in the right place.

Our studio is a diverse and vibrant community united by our passion for Latin dance, culture, and connection. We strive to make it feel like a second home, where young dancers feel included, supported, and encouraged to be themselves.

• Saturday 21 March & Saturday 27 March
• Free Come and Try Workshops
• Kids 9-12 years // 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
• Teens 12 -15 years // 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm

About Latin Dancing for Kids and Youth at Rio Rhythmics

Watch as your child’s confidence in themselves and their body grows as they feel the rhythm, express themselves through movement, and take a spin with friends in a warm, supportive, and vibrant atmosphere. Through fun movement repetition, your child will be dancing from the very first lesson.

The focus is not just on steps, but on movement, music, and connection to themselves and others. Your child will learn Salsa, Samba, Merengue, and Bachata, as well as percussion basics and the roots of South American dance, with some Brazilian Portuguese sprinkled in too!

We’re all about improving lives through Latin dance, culture, and community, and we can’t wait to show the next generation how they can dance their way to more fun, more friends, improved wellbeing, and a life-long skill.
