Kids' Holiday Event: Make Noise: Beat, Voice & Groove Lab (ages 7-10)
It's time to make noise! Learn how to play a drum and beat machine, create beautiful melodies and mix your vocals into fun scrambled sounds.
We want dancers, costumes, lyric inventors, visual DJ's and noise lovers, it's a party!
Using professional Roland music machines (J6, T8 & E4) attendees will learn to make a song together, building the beat and rhythm, playing piano style chords and melodies, and singing or rapping their lyrics into a voice tweaker.
There will be other off-instrument roles for music lovers too, such as conductors, visual artists (V-DJ's), lyric inventors and dancers.
Whether you love making music, playing with noise machines, dancing, writing poetry, singing, rapping, playing instruments or just having a fun time, MAKE NOISE is for you!
Costumes are encouraged; some dress ups will be supplied.
Please note that noise, lights and loud sounds will be part of this event.
