As part of the Bunbury Public Libraries’ Literacy Festival, this hands-on kids' workshop invites young readers to design and decorate their very own reading journals. It’s the perfect way to make tracking their favourite books and characters an exciting artistic adventure.

Location: Bunbury Public Library – Parkfield Street, Bunbury
Suitable for children 5-12 years, and all skill levels are welcome. Participants will leave with a personalised journal ready to house their reading journey.

About the festival:
The City of Bunbury Public Libraries presents the inaugural Literacy Festival, a vibrant, community-focused celebration of reading, writing and storytelling. Across 12 days and 21 events, the festival will bring stories to life through interactive storytelling, inspiring author talks, creative writing workshops, drawing sessions, family-friendly activities and literacy-focused programs for all ages.
The festival promotes essential lifelong literacy skills while showcasing local authors and illustrators. Free or low-cost and open to all, the festival reinforces that literacy is for everyone.
