Kids' Cushion Concert: Star Struck
Event Information
Description
What is a planet? What is a star? What is a constellation? Why is the sky blue? How many stars are there?
NewActon and Choreographer/Producer Liz Lea have teamed up for the first instalment in the popular Kids’ Cushion Concert series for 2017. Star Struck is a show for all ages, bringing the culture and science of the land together through exploring the astronomy of the Northern and Southern constellations.
Lea worked with astronomers and scientists based at Mount Stromlo Observatory to develop this children's work in association with QL2 Dance. Through contemporary dance and sound, this production brings an innovative and fun insight to the science of the stars and our skies, black holes, exploding stars and observing new galaxies.
Bring a cushion for your little one (3 to 8 years old) to sit on and enjoy this exciting show!
