Description
Calling children from the ages 10-15! If you've ever wanted to build something of your own with electronics, this is for you!
People have made automatic pet food dispensers, remote controls that turn off any TV in range, motors that open/close door, turn on/off water and many other items. If you want to create something like that -- this is the first step -- learn about the tools and how to work with them.
Don't worry -- you can't break anything, you'll learn by doing!
What we'll learn & cover:
- Introduction into electricity and basic electronics
- Introduction to programming
- How to turn on a LED light with a button
- Turning on multiple buttons and making them light up randomly like dice
- Where to go for help and next steps on making your own devices
Children should bring:
- Any snacks, smoko, drinks they want; water is provided
- A laptop that they can install software on (nothing big or large); if they don't have a laptop we do have some spare ones for use
