Kids Clay Club | Term 1 | Tuesdays 4pm – 5:30pm

Our loved clay class for kids is back for another term!

Join our ceramicist Svetlana Panov for fun filled "Under The Sea" themed clay classes for kids. Learn and up-skill your love for ceramics and clay, while exploring new shapes, structures, and techniques.


Term Dates: Tuesdays, 10 February - 31 March 2026 (8 weeks)

Time: 4pm - 5:30pm

Ages: 5+ years

Tutor: Svetlana Panov


Weekly Program Outline

Week 1 - Heart Dishes:

Focusing on creating a functional dish.

Week 2 - Fish Plate with Scales:

Focusing on surface decoration and embellishment with scales, eyes, lips and tail.

Week 3 - Coral Inspired Sculpture:

Focusing on construction of coral pieces, composition on a base for sculptural support.

Week 4 - Turtle Dish:

Focusing on using templates to construct a multi-piece turtle dish.

Week 5 - Koi Fish Mobile:

Focusing on contructing and decorating multiples to create a balanced mobile.

Week 6 - Mini Whale Planter:

Focusing on pinch pot technique to contruct a functional and decorative planter.

Week 7 - Glazing:

Focusing on glazing and underglazing.

Week 8 - Finalise Glazing:

Focusing on finalising glazing and finishing touches.


Please note that parents or guardians must remain on site during all children's workshops.
