Kids (5-15yrs) Bee Workshop – School Holiday Experience
An engaging, hands-on experience for children, designed to build curiosity and understanding of bees, pollination and nature.
🐝 Kids’ Bee Workshops are a fun and educational way for children to connect with nature these school holidays. Designed for kids aged 5–15, this interactive session invites little adventurers to suit up, explore the magical world of bees, and discover just how important these tiny pollinators are.
Kids will experience real beekeeping by :
- Putting on a suit and gloves and visit a live bee hive on site at Bay and Bush.
- They will hold bee frames , watch bees hard at work, and try to spot the Queen.
- They will learn the basics of the lifecycle of a honey bee, the jobs they share, the importance of pollination, and why we can't survive without bees and other insects
- The young biologists will come home buzzing with their bee facts, including how bees make honey.
Led by passionate facilitators, this hands-on workshop blends fun, discovery, and education, making it the perfect holiday activity for curious young minds.
Who is it for?
Kids aged 5–15 who love adventure, nature, and hands-on learning. Parents' supervision is required during the workshop and welcome to stay nearby during the workshop.

- Please ensure kids wear closed-toe shoes.
