Eastwood Library is partnering with the ID Support NSW to provide an information session presented in English and Mandarin on how to keep yourself safe from scams. Whether you're looking to learn how to strengthen your passwords, secure your devices, or maintain your online privacy, this session will equip you with the knowledge you need to stay one step ahead of cybercriminals.

Participants will learn how to spot a scam, run a credit check and recognise the importance of creating and maintaining strong passwords. ID Support will also have translated resources and will be available after the presentation for a question-and-answer session.

During the session, the following key points will be covered:

• What is ID support
• The impact of data breaches and identity thief
• Common Scam trends and how to identify a scam
• Online safety and password security
• Proactive steps you can take to mitigate against misuse

There will be a mandarin interpretor on site.
