Special face to face workshops will be run for the RTOs of this region. The day is made up of three sessions which are outlined below. Hit ‘reserve a spot’ now to make your selection on the session/s you are nterested in attending.

9:30am-10:30pm: Assessment in the Workplace

This one hour workshop explores assessment in the workplace covering topics such as:

The Relationship between the Learner, the Workplace and the RTO;
A Strong and Cooperative Partnership with the Workplace;
Clear Roles, Responsibilities, and Expectations;
Effective Support for Learners; and
Continuous Improvement.

11:00am-12:00pm: Trainer and Assessor Requirements

This one hour workshop covers the qualifications and units required to be a trainer and assessor, assessor only, when delivering under supervision, or when holding a Diploma or Higher-Level in Adult Education. Vocational Competence and industry currency is explored as well as an RTOs responsibility when third party agreements are in place.

1:00pm - 2:00pm: Continuous Improvement

This one hour workshop provides further information on Standard 2, in particular Clause 2.1-2.2 in relation to the RTO being ultimately responsible for ensuring quality training and assessment within their organisation and scope of registration.
