This educational, hands-on session has been designed specifically for Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Allied Health Professionals who prescribe seating solutions and want to feel more confident when recommending lift recliners for a wide range of clients.
Presented by Michael Boulton from K Care Healthcare Solutions you’ll be introduced to the K Care Alivio and Air Compact Lift Chair ranges, including K Care’s most customisable recliners. The session will guide you through product features, customisation options, accessories, handset functionality, and after-sales support — with plenty of practical insights you can apply directly to your clinical practice.
What You’ll Learn:
Understanding Lift Recliner Prescription
- How to accurately fit a client to a recliner — and why precision matters
- Key considerations for clients using a recliner 8–12+ hours per day
- Prescribing recliners for clients who may use the chair as a bed
- Choosing appropriate options for clients with cognitive challenges
