WHAT IS IT?
Juni - Abbreviation of Gin’s signature botanical.
Palooza - Noun. A party, celebration or festival.
Junipalooza - Dozens of Gin makers in one room, sharing their love of Gin, serving up samples, accompanied by stellar bars, a range of talks and guests having the best time!
Launched in London in 2012, Junipalooza is considered there premiere gin show in the world. This is the inaugural year for the show extending out into Melbourne, brought together by two established voices within the gin industry, THE GIN QUEEN & GIN FOUNDRY. There will be a special emphasis on celebrating the Australian Gin makers and this will be the first time so many of them will all be in one place at the same time, serving up their gins for your delectation.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the makers (over 30 in total!) of some of the best craft gins from Australia as well as from around the world, who all will be there in person. You can sample gins neat (or with Capi tonic water if you prefer) from any of the stands and attend masterclasses - all of which is included in the price of admission. There will also be quality cocktails at the bar hosted by the much loved team at Bad Frankie and a specialist gin shop stocking everything you could possibly want ahead of the Christmas season.
