JUNIOR SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CLINIC
Are you interested in taking your skills to the next level before season 2017 kicks off?
The club will be conducting a Skills Development session on Tuesday 24 January, from 9:00am to 1:00pm followed by a BBQ lunch.
The cost of the event is $20/ participant. This fee includes pitch hire and lunch.
The program will cover skills such as vision, creating space, ball delivery, ball reception and practice matches
Players will be required to bring along:
1/ a hockey stick
2/ hat
3/ drink bottle, and
4/ sunscreen.
The program is available to all NCHC junior members aged between 10 and 17. Subject to numbers, players will be grouped according to age and skill level.
If you would like to participate, please register by January 15, 2017.
Coaching Staff
The skill development clinic will be led by Ken Parkin, with assistance from Deb Barnett (NCHC Head Coach) and other NCHC coaches.
Ken Parkin is currently the Director of Junior Hockey Coaching at the Greensborough Hockey Club, and has a very long and meritorious involvement in the development of junior hockey in Victoria. Ken was recently recognised as a 'Hero of Hockey' by Hockey Victoria.
