Cycle Skills Fun Day
Come along with your child for a morning of fun competitions, prizes and bike games.
Remember to bring your bike and helmet.
There will be a FREE lunch provided, plus safety checks and tips for safer, better riding. This is not a 'learn to ride' program.
There is also a children's playground available. Don't forget to bring a hat, drink and sunscreen.
When: Tuesday, 9 July 2024
Time: Sign in opens at 9.30am, the program will run from 10am-1pm
Where: Walshaw Park Bike Track (CARES Facility), 6 Trebartha St, Bass Hill
Age: This program is for children 7-12 years . Parents must accompany their children.
Who: Children who live or study in Canterbury Bankstown local government area.
Cost: $5.00 per child*
Please note:
- There are a limited number of bicycles available for those who don't own one. Please indicate in your registration if you would like to borrow a bike for this activity.
- Children under the age of 7 years cannot take part in the program. However, with parent guidance, can ride the track and the skills course when it is not being used by the facilitators.
- Bicycles and helmets cannot be supplied for children under the age of 7 years.
- Parents/guardians must be on site with their children for the entire duration of the activity.
Cancellation Policy
If you can no longer attend the activity, registered participants must notify anita.pesa@cbcity.nsw.gov.au in writing, no less than 48-hours prior to the event taking place, in order to receive a full refund.
No shows or cancellations received after this 48-hour period are not eligible for any refund.
