Series of 3 workshops, held handily on Saturday afternoons, to assist job seekers to implement improved and robust jobsearch campaigns.
About this event
A three x 2 hour webinar series, featuring the insights of Patrick Comerford, founder of Catapult People, who has assisted thousands with the execution of successful job search campaigns.
Our research indicates that job seekers could, on average, be three times more effective! We help you to find out how effective you have been and then we work with you to improve it.
Our Careers Down Under (CDU) program assists all-comers, people who have been out of the workforce for a while, those recently experiencing redundancy (or about to), skilled migrants, graduates and those just looking for a change to realise their full potential,
We help people find meaningful employment (and employer sponsorship or Distinguished Talent Visa nominators where required).
Our Careers Down Under seminar includes the following topics, but will also address any specific queries and challenges you may have:
1. Hidden jobs; where are they and how to access them?
2. Improving the potential to 'get discovered' in the digital world.
3. Identifying target employers relevant to skills and experience.
4. Making successful approaches and winning interviews.
5. English as a second language as a strength, not a shortcoming.
6. Communicating visa subclasses to employers (where relevant).
7. Overcoming objections.
8. Development of verified selling points.
9. Handling rejection and staying motivated.
10. I have got an interview! What now?
11. The Covid era, what does it mean to careers?
Result? Improved confidence in knowing that you are aware of everything that can be done to be successful. Find out what you don't know.
One to one coaching services are offered at the end of the seminar series for those who might need a little more help.
