Jewellery Workshop: Woven Earrings or Pendants with Lisa Stevenson
A workshop for high schoolers. Create a pair of woven earrings or pendant using raffia and embroidery floss.
Using the coiling technique, you will learn how to shape and create beautiful woven earings using a wrapping stitch as well as how to attach to jewellery findings.
This workshop is facilitated by Lisa Stevenson. Lisa is a multidisciplinary artist based on unceded Ngunnawal land, just outside the ACT. Sharing her passion for basketry, fibre art and the sustainable use of natural materials, Lisa delivers workshops on various basketry techniques. She holds a degree in visual arts from the Australian National University and has exhibited in Canberra and interstate.
Suitable for highschoolers, all materials will be provided. This is a free event, however spaces are limited. Secure your spot by registering now.
