Jazz A Cappella Workshop

Workshop led by The Velvetones

The Velvetones are Melbourne’s very own female jazz vocal quartet. Inspired by Manhattan Transfer, The Chordettes and The Andrews Sisters, these four sassy women perform with tremendous vocal harmony and a healthy dose of playful good humour.

Join the Velvetones as they lead a jazz A Capella workshop where you will learn a toe tapping, hand clapping jazz standard from the 1940’s, plus how to sell it with vocal styling, movement and moxy! Following the workshop, all participants will be invited to perform with The Velvetones in concert at the A Cappella showcase on Saturday 13 July.

This event will be an afternoon of spine-tingling close harmony and lots of fun with the added value of an opportunity to perform, so what are you waiting for?
