• Kimekomi, originating in Kyoto during the 18th century, involves tucking fabric into carved lines to form elegant patterns on a ball-shaped base, creating decorative, patchwork-style ornaments.
• In this workshop, you’ll learn the techniques of this traditional Japanese craft and enjoy guided instruction to craft your very own Kimekomi Mari ball keychain.
• No sewing experience required. Craft beginners are welcome.
• This workshop is designed for people aged 16 and over.
• Participants are required to have Bayside Library membership.
