Event description
Join Mackay Regional Council & Sister Cities for free Japanese inspired craft and activities to celebrate Japanese Children's Day in 2021.

About this event

*Due to Covid19 social distancing restrictions this is a ticketed only event, with limited numbers.

Two sessions will be held, 9am-10.30am and 10.30am - 12pm. Please book a ticket for each child that will be attending (regardless of age).

Photography Permission: Please be aware that photos may be posted to Mackay Regional Council, Sister Cities Mackay Group and Community Programs Facebook pages. Do not attend if you do not wish to be photographed.

COVID UPDATE!

On entry to the Jubilee Community Centre all visitors to are required to sign into the COVID-19 Register or Check In Qld App - Please download app to phone prior to arrival.

COVID-19 rules, social distancing and upgraded hygiene measures are now in place at the Jubilee Community Centre for the safety of visitors and staff. Please contact us if you have any concerns or queries prior to visiting 4961 9434.

Individuals are to socially distance from others at all times and it is the responsibility of the individual, parent or carer to monitor this. Current spacing requirements in Queensland are 1 person to every 2 square metres.

Do Not enter the Jubilee Community Centre if:

  • You or your child are unwell or have a cough, fever sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath
  • You have COVID-19 symptoms
  • You have been overseas in the last 14 days (prior to event)
  • Or have been in close contact with a confirmed case

Consider carefully your availability to attend the event BEFORE making your booking. Booking cancellations - especially late cancellations - can mean that we may not be able to fill that place, rendering it a lost opportunity for another community member.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel through eventbrite, or contact Shona Norris ASAP on 4961 9434 to advise.

• Please arrive promptly to the event that you have registered to attend to allow time for check in procedures.
