Event description
Are Kindness & Self-Acceptance power skills Project & Procurement Professionals should add to the arsenal and if so why?

About this event

We can all agree that leadership has changed – the authoritarian replaced with the collaborator. Soft skills (or Power Skills as some would prefer to call them) dominate over the technical. World leaders such as NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Adern have actively campaigned on words like Kindness & Togetherness.

In this webinar we are joined by Author, Illustrator and self-confessed Day Dreamer Josh Langley to discuss whether these are skills are truly valuable or just fluff project and procurement professionals just dont need.

Organiser The ProForum Community

Organiser of Is Kindness a professional skill or just Fluff?

John Donne famously wrote, “No man is an island.” He could have been talking about a projects and procurement! It is the interconnections of these two critical disciplines that when working well delivers success!

The ProForum is the only community for project and procurement professionals providing cross connections between these two vital disciplines!

Project and Procurement Professionals work within similar frameworks and require many of the same skill sets including:

• Stakeholder engagement

• Risk Management

• Cost Benefit Analysis

• Contract & Tender Management

• Resource Management

It makes sense for people in these professions should work and learn together.
