Location

31 City Road Southbank, VIC 3006 Australia

Description

With so much misinformation and confusion about IP standards and IP infrastructure, this workshop is designed to inform and educate on what is needed to successfully implement an IP infrastructure to sustain the high volume of data in a media environment. At the same time, being mindful of the transition required from baseband and the need to cater for 4K, HFR, HDR and WCG in the future.

There are over 50 high profile broadcasters and media production companies around the globe already using software defined video networking in their IP infrastructure, Fernando Solanes, Evertz’s IP Solutions specialist will take us through a technical and operational presentation and discussion of the Why?, Where? What? and How? these organisations have transitioned to an IP environment.

SMPTE Australia Section and Studiotech Australia are pleased to be bringing you these workshops where you’ll have the opportunity to learn, ask questions and get hands on with some of the hardware used to facilitate an IP infrastructure in a media environment. Eg. IP gateway products, IP switching and system monitoring.

Finger food and refreshments will be available on the night
