QCEC will host and facilitate these introductory sessions, for teachers who would like to learn more about Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher Certification. They are open to all Queensland Catholic school teachers and will be delivered via the zoom online platform.
The introductory session will include:
- Overview of the certification process
- Eligibility requirements
- An introduction to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- HAT and LT - what is the difference?
- Planning the portfolio
- Direct evidence and writing annotations
Those deciding to pursue certification would then need to enrol in an in-depth workshop.
There is no charge for attending, however please cancel your registration for this event if your plans change and you are not able to attend so your place can be reallocated.
Registered participants will be sent an email containing the zoom login details for their session.
