This full-day introduction to blacksmithing will cover safety in the workshop, the tools of the trade and some of the basic techniques. Using this information, you will learn to hand forge a coal rake and hanging hook. At the end of the day, you will take your hand-made tool home with you.

Age: TEEN 13-17 and ADULT 18+

Skill Level: Beginner

Inclusions: All instruction, tools and materials provided

What to bring: Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen.

Clothing Guidelines: Workshop appropriate - wrist to ankle 100% cotton, steel capped boots or leather work boots preferred, hair tied back, no hanging jewellery, no baggy or flowing clothing.
