Join us to connect deeper into Traditional Māori healing and the ancient art of Mirimiri and Romiromi

Introduction to Traditional Māori Healing

Join us for a hands-on, in-person waananga with Ruatau Perez about dive deep into the Mātauranga and world of self healing and Mirimiri/Romiromi. Whether you're curious or looking to deepen your own knowledge and connection, this event is a great chance to connect with culture, community, and healing.

We will gather for one evening (Thursday) and three full days (Fri/Sat/Sun) and sit in sacred space and discover how traditional Māori healing techniques and ancient practices bring balance and wellbeing.

With over 25 years of first hand expereince as a practitioner and teacher Ruatau Perez grounds these weekends on Whare Waananga Lore - the Maatauranga Papa Joe Hoehpa De Le Mere directly shared with him while he was a student of his in Auckland. Ruatau founded Te Ara Teatea Trust -a whare hauora and community health centre in Otautahi Christchurch, NZ and is now sharing this Matauranga here in Yugambah country, Gold Coast Australia.

By integrating these teachings and techniques shared over the waananga you will leave with a deeper understanding ancestoral traumas and tools for self healing. You will deepen your own spiritual practices and safety in spiritual realms aswell as having a basic romiromi body alignment in which you can start to learn the techniques and depth that healing can go to within this modality.

Tea, coffee, herbals and snacks provided daily and in the spirit of whanautanga we invite you to bring something along to contribute to a shared lunch each day (pot luck style).

The Gold Coast address (NOT THE AIRPORT) most will likely be a private residence with the address to be confirmed and sent out closer to the start date.

For those traveling from out of town, we may have a couple of beds available please contact us after regsistration if you are interested in this extra cash option.
