Overview

This online live training is designed to provide an introduction to key Process Safety Management concepts.

R4Risk’s process safety online live training (i.e. not pre-recorded) is designed to provide an introduction to key Process Safety Management (PSM) concepts. Delivered over two interactive half-day sessions, this course provides real-world lessons from major incidents and essential principles for managing risk in hazardous industries.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This training course is designed for those who are new to process safety concepts and/or have not worked in process industries. They include those involved in the design, operation, maintenance and management of hazardous process plants, refineries, chemical plants, oil and gas facilities, petrochemical / LPG terminals and process plants at mines.

Those who would benefit from this course include:

  • Plant managers and supervisors
  • Graduate plant and process engineers
  • Graduate design engineers
  • Health and safety managers
  • Maintenance supervisors.


COURSE CONTENT

This interactive training course covers a range of essential topics, including:

  • Importance of PSM
  • Lessons from disasters
  • Basic principles on fire, explosion and toxics hazards
  • Principles of process design safety
  • Technical risk assessment
  • Management systems.
