Learn the basics of pattern drafting to make custom clothes that fit like a dream with patternmaker, Andrea Streefkerk.

In this 2-day workshop, you will learn pattern drafting techniques to make a simple skirt pattern to your own measurements.

Andrea will teach you to interpret a commercial pattern and guide you through flat patternmaking methods including darts and the slash and open technique.

At the end of the workshop, you will have created a basic skirt block and completed a sample toile of your custom garment.


A ge: Teen 13-17 or Adult 18+

S kill Level: Some basic sewing skills required

I nclusions: All instruction, tools and materials included.

W hat to Bring: Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen.

C lothing Guidelines: Workshop appropriate - closed toe shoes, no hanging jewellery, hair tied back
