Introduction to Nature Journaling

Hogarth Falls CarparkStrahan, TAS
Sunday, Dec 7 from 10 am to 1 pm AEDT
Overview

Join us for a fun day out exploring the beauty of nature through journaling - no artistic skills required!

Explore your creative side at Hogarth Falls/People's Park, Strahan on December 7, 2025. Get ready to observe and sketch the beauty of nature around you. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity!

Nature journaling is the practice of drawing or writing in response to nature. It helps you notice details in nature while slowing down and giving yourself time to relax and reflect. A nature journal becomes a personal record of your response to nature.

This event is suitable for adults and children 10+ accompanied by an adult.

We will be spending time outdoors, possibly walking on uneven surfaces. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear good walking shoes.

All necessary items will be provided on the day, including a sketch pad, clipboards and drawing materials. Feel free to bring your own equipment if you prefer.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
