About this event

In this full-day workshop, you will learn about the origins of this ancient dye and spend time with the vat creating a range of blue hues.

Jude will guide you through creating colour samples and experimenting with resist techniques.

At the end of the workshop, you will have a beautiful silk scarf to wear home, dyed with your own hands.

Age: ADULT 18+

Skill Level: NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Inclusions: All instruction, tools and materials included

Bring: Snacks, lunch, water bottle, notepad and pen.

Clothing Guidelines: Comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting stained. Closed-toed shoes. Apron recommended.

Jude Craig is a natural dyer. Her innate love of indigo and extracting all colours from nature empower her to ‘work instinctively, preserve traditions and be responsible’.
