CartoGIS Training - an introduction to GIS Analysis for Research

About this event

What: This course comprises 4 x 2hr weekly modules that introduce a range of core analytic and spatial skills for humanities research. Having completed this course, you will be able to assess proximity, count the number of features in an area, summarise and map census data, and use network analysis to calculate distances along roads.

When: Online lab sessions run from 10am – 12pm on Thursday on the following dates

  • 29 April
  • 6 May
  • 13 May
  • 20 May

Participation in all four of these Zoom lab sessions is required for this course.

Please note: If you have no prior GIS experience, completion of GIS400 is a pre-requisite.

Training is for ANU staff and HDR students only.
