Am I ready? Do I have a plan?

This entry-level program is aimed at those who are thinking of starting a business but are not sure where to begin. All in all, this workshop is aimed to assist participants to explore and map their business idea and to provide practical steps towards business readiness along with connecting to a range of business supports and resources.

PART 1 - AM I READY

This session is designed to introduce participants to a range of pre-planning considerations prior to starting a business. The session comprises (4) initial steps towards start-up, including;

Step 1: What about my business idea?

Step 2: Have I got what it takes?

Step 3: Will it work?

Step 4: Do I have enough support?

PART 2 - DO I HAVE A PLAN?

In this section participants will be introduced to the planning process of their business. As with any plan, they’ll need to have some goals, objectives and justifications to base their plans on.

This workshop is free to attend for First Nations Peoples looking to start a business, or are needing a refresher in basic business concepts and planning.
