We meet at the lookout, which is about 25 meters from the carpark.

What is a wide angle lens?

A wide angle lens for the evening would be a lens with a focal length between 12mm to 20mm. Ben uses a 14mm, 20mm or 15-35mm lens.

What should I wear?

It can be cold! So dress warmly, including a beanie and gloves. Wear sturdy shoes with some grip. A head torch with red light is also great for a night under the stars.

Unless there is a high chance of rain predicted, workshops go ahead. Photography is an adventure and the hope is we see stars, if by chance it is cloudy we do some light painting which in turn teaches the theory of night photography based around settings, focusing etc.
