Introducing Paediatrics Across the Proactive Health Network
Shifting From Adult Models to Developmental Thinking
This webinar is an introduction to paediatric practice for clinicians across the Proactive network. It's designed to build a shared understanding of how paediatric care differs from adult models, and to give practitioners a consistent framework to draw on as the network expands into this space.
Liz will cover the shift from pathology-based to developmental thinking, a structured approach to paediatric assessment, how to write reports that are clear and useful for families, schools, and funding bodies, and how functional outcomes look different for children compared to adults.
The session is relevant to all disciplines including Physios, EPs, OTs, Social Workers, and Dietitians and is suitable for both new graduates and experienced clinicians. No prior paediatric experience is required.
