Held at the Dale Studio in Sydney, this hands-on and informative session will give you the confidence and tools to start creating your own video projects or vlogs.

Whether you're keen to participate or just prefer to observe and take notes, this workshop is tailored to meet you where you are. We'll start with a presentation covering the theory and fundamentals of video production, followed by a live demonstration of a short scene, shot and edited in real time. Expect practical advice, approachable guidance, and real examples using Nikon Z series mirrorless cameras.

You’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of how to plan, shoot, and edit compelling visual stories - and most importantly, feel motivated to start filming.

What This Class Covers (and What It Doesn’t):

We’ll go through G’s full workflow from pre-production to post, focusing on realistic steps you can take to get started. Lighting and editing will be covered briefly, but not in-depth as they’re entire topics on their own. The goal is to simplify, not overwhelm.
