Synopsis: Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) is a secure web-based database application maintained by the University of Sydney. It is ideal for collecting and managing participant data and administering online surveys, with features supporting longitudinal data collection, complex team workflows and exports to a range of statistical analysis programs.

In this training session, we will cover:

  • How to build a simple data entry project
  • How to choose the appropriate fields for your data collection
  • How to invite collaborators to a project

Target audience: Students and staff at the University of Sydney who need to collect electronic data or responses from participants into a structured database.

This training is for University of Sydney students, staff, and affiliates ONLY. Please register using your University email address. If you are a collaborator of a University researcher, please contact us in addition to registering on Eventbrite. Any registrations which are not made using @sydney.edu.au or @uni.sydney.edu.au (or any other USYD variation) and are not granted prior permission will be removed.
