The Governor of Victoria, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, invites you to an International Women's Day Women's Health Panel at Government House Victoria on Tuesday 3 March 2026 at 5.00 pm.
Organised in partnership with the National Council of Women Victoria and moderated by Jacinta Parsons, a panel of leading experts will discuss current insights and priorities in Women’s Health: the key contributions to Women’s Health in Australia, the role of female hormones in disease, the importance of tailoring treatment for women and men, the impact of AI on violence towards women and the role of women in leadership in driving policy change.
Speakers for the event are:
· Cassandra Szoeke, Professor of Healthy Ageing
· Helena Teade AM, Professor of Endocrinology
· Jayashri Kulkani, Professor of Psychiatry
· Sarah Barnbrook, Founder, Away from Keyboard
· The Honourable Ged Kearney MP, Australia’s first Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care (Women’s Health)

Event information:
· Attendance is free, although registration is essential. All attendees’ full names must be registered. If registering on behalf of someone else, please register them in their own name. Multiple registrations under one name will NOT be permitted.
· Gates open at 5.00pm. Light refreshments will be served on arrival. All attendees must be seated by 5.40 pm. Official Proceedings commence at 6.00 pm. Event concludes at 7.30 pm.
· Guests may be photographed during the event and photos may be published online.
· Dress is smart casual.
Entry requirements:
· Entrance to Government House is via Government House Drive, off St Kilda Road.
· Parking is available within the grounds of Government House.
· All attendees will be required to undergo security screening involving wanding and bag checks on arrival.
· Photographic identification is required to gain entry for persons aged above 18.
· Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
