Breathwork Session

12 - 1 pm

This International Women’s Day, give your body and mind a real reset. Join Tash from Breathing Space for a Breathwork session. Step away from stress, breathe with ease, and leave feeling grounded, in control, and energised. This isn’t mindful breathing, it’s recalibrating your internal system.

Art Therapy Session

1:30 - 2:30 pm

Join Stacey from MudLarke Art Healing for Honouring Self Tiny Totems art therapy workshop. In this workshop, we will be exploring the theme of honouring self through ‘wildness’, mark marking, collage, water colour, clay and beads to build a mini totem reflecting on our strengths and inner wisdom as wonderful, wild, radiant women!

Mother & Daughter Connection Circle

3-4 pm

This event is aimed at mother and daughter pairs to join Tamara McMahon in a beautiful opportunity to strengthen connections, balance the scales between generations, and tie into the theme of the day.

It will include a gentle communication activity, a small craft component, and a share circle, finishing with a short meditation. Yoga mats supplied.

Sip and Shop

4 - 6 pm

Enjoy a musical evening with demonstrations from the Choir, Monsoon Nights and Wild Brumby’s. Ticket holders will enjoy a complimentary non-alcoholic cocktail on arrival, nutritional platters to enjoy and gain exclusive access to a special op shop opening. The event is free, but tickets are limited, so secure yours soon!

Theme

This year's theme, 'Balance the scales,' is a movement for justice. When women support women, we shift the scales for generations

Balance the Scales is a promise that every woman and girl – regardless of background or identity – should be safe, heard, and free to shape her own future. Millions across Australia and the world are still denied that fair go. Discriminatory laws, harmful practices, and gender-based violence remain widespread, while structural barriers continue to block access to justice. These barriers are not inevitable. They are built – and they can be dismantled. Justice for First Nations women must also be community-led and grounded in respect for self-determination. First Nations women in Australia face unique and complex challenges in accessing justice. Overrepresentation in the criminal justice system, intergenerational trauma, and limited access to culturally safe legal support are just some of the barriers.

When women and girls stand equal, families are stronger, workplaces are fairer, communities thrive, and society becomes safer for everyone. Equality is not about advantage for some; it’s about dignity, safety, and fairness for all.

We know that achieving gender equity requires everyone at the table. That’s why we’ve set a goal for more male participation and encourage you to bring along colleagues who are ready to play an active role in building a more equal future.
