International Women's Day Breakfast 2026

Join us for an inspiring morning celebrating the incredible achievements of women around the world! This in-person event is all about connection, empowerment, and fun. Enjoy great company, tasty breakfast bites in your specially curated breakfast box, and uplifting conversations. Don’t miss out on a chance to honor international women as well as a few locals we would like to recognise and fuel your day with positivity and energy. We welcome back Mandy Nolan as our MC for 2026. See you there!

We will have 5 remarkable women to talk about what this day of celebrating women’s achievements means to them: Maddison Powell (Women’s Health Centre Lismore but formerly of Fletcher Street Cottage in Byron Bay); Freywini Baume (a beautiful young women with an interesting life story. She is a bee expert – travels the word educating on eradication of varroa mite in bees); Di Goldie who will talk about one of Zonta’s International Projects (Birthing Kits); Judy Smith (retired Police Officer who worked for many years in local area as a DVLO (Domestic Violence Liaison Officer) and in Child Mistreatment Unit; and Trina Jones who will talk about one of Zonta’s current projects.

PS, yes there will be a raffle with some fantastic local prizes so bring along your spare change for tickets. There will also be a 'flower sale' for your chance to take home a lovely flower arrangement from the function.
