International Women's Day - Balance the Scales

Please join us on Friday 6 March at Maitland Town Hall as we welcome our community to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Maitland City Council is partnering with Joblink Plus and Carrie's Place to celebrate International Women's Day. This year’s United Nations Women Australia's theme, Balance the Scales, recognises the many ways women juggle, contribute, and lead across our families, workplaces, and community life, whilst recognising the urgent need to ensure fair, inclusive and accessible justice for every woman and girl.

The morning will include an insightful panel of guest speakers, a range of women’s services exhibitors culminating in a morning tea with entertainment creating a space to connect, share stories, and celebrate the strength and diversity of women in our community.

The Loretta Baker Scholarship winner will be announced during this event.
