It’s a chance to step into a room of like-minded women, hear from experienced voices, and leave feeling supported, energised, and uplifted. You'll be reminded that you're not alone in your journey and that we all have a story that has shaped us, and as women we're here for each other, together.

PANEL SPEAKERS

Our panel brings together women with real-world experience, strong values, and generous insight. As women, we’ve all been in a room full of men and felt out of place, unworthy, or like we needed to prove that we deserved to be there. The women on our speaker panel have been through the thick of it throughout their careers and have flipped the script on where women fit in the corporate and business world.

Meet the panel:

  • Alison Dean (Founder, The Peppermint Group)
  • Melissa Penn (Managing Director, Sydney Dogs & Cats Home).
  • Belinda Xia (Founder, Belinda Xia Studio)

Together, they’ll share candid reflections on business, leadership, decision-making, and navigating growth over the course of their careers.

WHY THIS EVENT IS DIFFERENT

- Values-led, not sales-driven

- A portion of the ticket price will be donated to Sydney Dogs and Cats Home

- Focused on connection, not performance

- Hosted in a beautiful, considered space

- Designed to feel welcoming, even if you come alone

Many guests attend solo, and leave with new (genuine) connections.

ABOUT THE HOST

This event is hosted by Sarah Pyke - a Sydney-based accountant passionate about supporting women in business through ethical finance, community, and practical guidance.

Having hailed from the small island of Tasmania back in 2010, she has well and truly had her sights set on the world and everything it has to offer. Having spent 20 years (and counting) in her field, she started her business off the back of being fired for taking a holiday for her birthday - true story, and the best thing that ever happened to her! Without that decisive moment, Bond Financial wouldn’t be here today.

International Women’s Day is an opportunity to bring women together - not just to celebrate, but to connect meaningfully and support one another in the work we do.
