Overview

The South Australia Business Chamber is proud to present the 2026 International Women’s Day Business Luncheon.

Each year, the South Australian Business Chamber’s International Women’s Day Business Luncheon brings together more than 500 leaders from across South Australia to celebrate the stories, achievements, and impact of women driving progress across business, community, and industry.

The 2026 International Women’s Day Business Luncheon is aligned with UN Women Australia’s official theme: Balance the Scales.

We are pleased to announce Dr Susan Neuhaus AM FAICD as our keynote speaker for 2026. Susan is a 2022 Australian of the Year Finalist for South Australia and a highly respected leader across medicine, governance, and military service. Her career spans senior clinical and board roles, service with the Australian Army, and recognition as a Member of the Order of Australia for services to medicine and to veterans and their families.

This year’s panel brings together three women leading change across the South Australian business community. Together, they’ll explore what Balance the Scales really looks like in practice, sharing insights on leadership, innovation and systems change, and the everyday realities of navigating progress and equity across diverse industries.

  • Vicky Whiffin is Head of Technology – Copper South Australia at BHP, with more than 20 years’ experience leading complex systems, transformation and resilient teams across utilities, mining and public infrastructure.
  • Rosina Di Maria is an award-winning Interior Designer and Chair of the Adelaide Studio, bringing global experience and a human-centred, inclusive approach to projects across workplace, hospitality, residential and civic sectors.
  • Emma Gilbert is an entrepreneur and regenerative farmer based in Clarendon, and the founder of IncubatePro, an agri-tech app improving hatch rates while educating the next generation of ethical producers.

We are also pleased to confirm Elspeth Hussey, Presenter and Reporter with 7NEWS, will return as MC. An experienced facilitator known for guiding thoughtful and engaging conversations, Elspeth has hosted the Chamber’s International Women’s Day Lunch for several years, and we’re delighted to welcome her back to lead this year’s discussion.

Join us as we explore what it means to Balance the Scales across South Australian workplaces in what promises to be another powerful and thought-provoking International Women’s Day event.
