There may be time for Q&A, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. Given the high profile and demanding nature of their roles, our priority is to run this event to the allotted time schedule so that our panel can be finished by the published end time.

Does this event have age restrictions?

Accepted Answer

There are no age restrictions for this event. However, given the sensitive scientific  topics that may be touched on, including trauma, crime scene forensics and death investigations, we suggest that attendees should be 14 and above, and use their own discretion to decide whether to attend.

Can I attend in person?

No, this is an online only event.

Can I book multiple tickets for my work or school group?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can book up to 12 tickets on a single booking. If would like to confirm a group booking of more than 12, please contact the organisers to arrange.

Is there a cost to attend the event?

No, there is no ticket fee, tickets are free.

Is this event only for women and girls to attend?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not. This is an open event for everyone - female, male or non-binary - although the topic is of course "International  Day of Women and Girls in Science" so attendees will need to be open to multiple references to women and girls.

I work at VIFM, do I still need to book a ticket?

It is not essential for staff at VIFM to book a ticket on this Eventbrite platform, they can use the link in the Outlook calendar invitation.
