International Day of Education: Fishing Clinic (Ballarat)
Come and learn all about how to fish sustainably, the underwater lives of fish, and the creatures that inhabit our beautiful area.
Come and join us for a morning of environmental education for International Day of Education! Supported by our dedicated Fishcare Victoria staff and volunteers, each session provides a hands-on fishing experience tailored for all ages, skill levels and abilities.
What you'll enjoy:
Cycling through several stations, there will be something to interest everyone:
- Fishing clinc
- Casting practice
- Indigenous significance
- Water tesing and water bug identifying
- Local flora and fauna guides
- 'What's under the water' information
Please Note:
Bookings are essential. These popular sessions have limited spots, so book early to secure your place.
If you’re unable to attend, kindly cancel through Eventbrite to free up a spot for someone else.
Weather, safety and Cancellations:
Sessions may need to be cancelled due to predicted adverse weather, unsafe or unsuitable conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Any cancellations will be communicated via email and SMS at any time leading up to the scheduled session.
