Intermediate Terrarium Building Workshop

Defy gravity and learn how to create your own live moss wall terrarium.

Create your own live moss wall terrarium complete with lush moss varieties, tiny tiny plants and cork bark!

How does the wall stay upright? You will learn by joining this workshop, where you will create a live moss wall going up the back of the terrarium, complete with tiny plants and pieces of cork bark. You can choose to add some little figurines to your scape (think tiny houses and toadstools), or keep it natural. We will complete the build by adding in tiny insects called springtails, which act as the cleanup crew, eating any dead leaves and mould, making the terrarium bioactive.

This workshop could get messy! Please dress accordingly.

This workshop is recommended for those who've created a terrarium with us before (but we welcome beginners if you're ready for a challenge!). It is suitable for ages 12+.
