Overview

Learn to code a more complicated game in Scratch with this intermediate project.


Bookings open on Monday 22 December 2025 at 9am.

Suitable for kids who have coded with Scratch before and want to move beyond the beginner level projects.

Please note:

  • Children must bring their own laptop to this program (iPads are not suitable).
  • If children want to save their project they also need to bring a USB (or be prepared to create a coding account in Scratch online).
  • Parents or guardians must be present in the library, within eyesight of children, while the class is in session for any children under 11 years old.
  • Minimum requirements for own devices: Windows 10+, macOS 10.13+, Chrome OS or Android 6.0+. You can use the online version of Scratch during the session or download Scratch to your device beforehand.

Visitor information

Children under the age of 11 should be supervised by someone over 18 at all times in the Library.

This event may be filmed or photographed.
