Interactive Music Workshops for children with special needs and siblings
Event Information
About this Event
The Rhythm Village interactive school holiday music workshops are specifically designed for children with special needs, with the option of bringing their sibling along, to have fun and bond with one another through music and rhythm.
Every child is given the opportunity to ‘shine’, to create sound and music, to explore their own creativity and push their physical boundaries.
This workshop is created to suit the children involved, considering age, appeal, attention span and ability. We use a variety of musical instruments such as drums, maracas, clapping sticks, xylophones, and much, much more!
Following the music workshop, we will have a short break and then run a percussion making workshop.
Using art and craft materials, participants will create their own instruments which we will use to make more music together. Participants can take their creations home and continue to make music long after the workshop has finished.
This workshop promises to be fun and exciting and if parents are bringing more than one child along, it is a great way for siblings to bond with another through music!
PLEASE NOTE: PARENT OR CARER MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES
