Why get involved?
Your involvement and the involvement of innovation champions from within your organisation will:
- contribute towards ideas that will accelerate innovation in the ACT and region.
- activate the broader community and empower Foundation Members and partners to co-own the agenda of the CBRIN into the future.
- determine the innovation network’s priorities and how these accelerate to the city’s economic development ambition and the ambitions and visions of the individual nodes of the network.
- get people familiar and aligned with the work and purpose of CBRIN and establish a shared ownership of the network,
- reduce key person risk for foundation members and gold partners
- broaden the family of people who understand, collaborate with and support the network throughout the year.
- feel energised and develop a sense of belonging to a Canberra innovation network tribe, experience the innovation community and become voices that communicate back to their organisations.
The ACT Innovation ecosystem continues to grow and as a part of this we aspire to evolve this into a regular event that further connects and expands the network. Apart from the ACT Government, Foundation Members (ANU, CIT, UC, UNSW Canberra and CSIRO ) and Gold Partners (Optus, KWM and PWC), the network has already many other nodes, such as the Mill House, CEAT, Cyber Hub, UNSW Launch, AIE's GamesPlus and FilmPlus, and new innovation players and entrants.
