Innovating Work Experience Project Innovation Lab - Design Jam

The Innovating Work Experience Project (IWEP) is designed to help young people gain exposure to and explore a range of creative and cultural career pathways or start your entrepreneurial journey.

The first step is the Design Jam a one-day design process to experience how to creatively and collaboratively problem-solve to develop project ideas, plans or prototypes that create positive change.

Following on is the Incubator to further explore, refine and test project ideas developed at the Design Jam. The Incubator enables you to build essential business, entrepreneaurial and work skills, gain access to industry mentors and create a project proposal or business model to present at a Community Pitch.

You can apply to complete the Innovation Lab as a work experience placement if you are attending school - speak to your Careers Advisor and contact 9083 8936.

The Innovation Lab is open to young people aged 15 - 24 who live, work, study or hang out in Waverley, Woollahra and Randwick Local Government Areas and supported by NSW Department Family and Community Services.
