Whitehorse City Council is offering an information session, covering what is involved in incorporating as a trader/ business association.

There are significant benefits to main street businesses working in a coordinated fashion towards their management and marketing, in partnership with local and state government.Incorporated associations are eligible for many government grants. These can facilitate promotional campaigns and facility improvements to prosper everyone.Businesses located in retail precincts are invited to attend this comprehensive information session.Hosted by Patrick Moriarty, Managing Partner at Strategic Australia Communications, topics will cover:•	What is incorporation, how do we do it and what are its obligations?•	What makes a good trader association?•	Special Rates•	Legal and reporting duties•	How do we represent our traders?The session is free of charge and open to all business owners located in precincts around Whitehorse.
