Information session - Chinese Community Hall Hire (CCHH) Program

The session is designed to help your organisation understand the CCHH and get ready to submit a strong application.

Welcome to the Chinese Community Hall Hire Prorgam information session.

The objective of the Chinese Community Hall Hire (CCHH) program is to support Victoria’s Chinese community organisations through grant payments towards venue hires for their community gatherings, events, and meeting activities that support Victoria’s Chinese communities to:

• celebrate and share their history and traditions
• build Chinese community connections, capacity, and networks to participate in society
• help Chinese communities to access social and cultural opportunities.

The CCHH program will offer two funding streams:

• Small grants of up to $10,000
• Large grants between $10,001 and $40,000

Proposed venue hires mustl occur between 15 May 2026 and 15 Febuary 2027.

Applications opened on Friday, 20 February 2026 and will close at 3.00pm on Monday, 30 March 2026.

The information session will cover key points to help you prepare a strong application, and organisations are encouraged to register for one of the two sessions.
